On November 20, 2014, Hon. Robert V. Boharic, (Ret.) will be speaking in the National Business Institute’s (NBI) video webcast entitled, “Small Companies – Big Problems: Legal Management of Shareholder and Partner Disputes at Closely-Held Entities.”  The video webcast is a continuing legal education (CLE) course that provides attorneys with valuable knowledge for how to manage every step of an ownership dispute case  from some of the field’s most experienced professionals.  Judge Boharic’s presentation called, “Tips for Impressing (or at Least not Alienating) the Judge in Ownership Dispute Cases,” will offer useful tips for effectively communicating with the judge in an ownership dispute case – from the judge’s perspective.  His presentation will also focus on the benefits of mediation over litigation in ownership dispute cases and the best ways for attorneys to manage the mediation process.  For more details about the NBI webcast, see the brochure.

Judge Boharic is a senior mediator and arbitrator at ADR Systems. He has extensive experience in multi-party commercial matters, partnership dissolution, real estate, medical malpractice, product liability, personal injury and administrative law. In addition to the experience he garnered on the bench, Judge Boharic brings a broad perspective to his mediations and arbitrations, having practiced law as both plaintiff and defense counsel.

Judge Etchingham has a terrific demeanor, and made my client feel very comfortable.  He took time to thoroughly prepare, coming to the table with a clear understanding of the case.  Judge Etchingham offered insightful advice that kept negotiations from reaching a standstill.  I wish I had been able to practice before him when he was on the bench; Judge Etchingham is a real find for ADR Systems.
