We are pleased to announce that Hon. Perry J. Gulbrandsen, (Ret.) has joined ADR Systems as a Senior Mediator and Arbitrator. He has experience resolving auto liability, construction, contract, estates, insurance coverage, landlord-tenant, personal injury and worker’s compensation matters.

Judge Gulbrandsen is a founding partner of Rittenberg, Buffeen & Gulbrandsen, and served as an Associate Judge in the Circuit Court of Cook County for 11 years.

He has extensive experience in the resolution of workers’ compensation disputes, having worked as an arbitrator for the Illinois Industrial Commission for 10 years.  He also has experience settling cases involving insurance coverage, contract law, construction disputes, auto liability, landlord-tenant disputes, and multi-million dollar estate disputes.

Throughout his career, Judge Gulbrandsen has been a member of the Judicial Evaluation Committee, Cook County Bar Association; Chicago Bar Association, West Suburban Bar Association and Illinois Judges Association. He has been awarded Richard M. Daley Career Commitment Award and the Constance Morris Outstanding Service Award.

Judge Gulbrandsen earned his bachelor’s degree from Lake Forest College. He then earned a Juris Doctorate at DePaul University College of Law, where he is a member of the law school’s Hall of Fame.
