On March 2nd, 2015, ADR Systems Director of the Commercial & Family Law Division, Joshua Heffernan, Esq., was interviewed by Alyson Carrel, author of the video blog, “ADR as First Career.” The interview addresses why Josh chose to begin his career in the ADR field, and offers advice for young professionals who are considering doing the same. Mr. Heffernan is the director of ADR Systems’ Commercial & Family Law Division. Josh has been active in the ADR field for many years, and has extensive experience administering commercial mediations and arbitrations for contract, products liability, professional malpractice, construction and other complex commercial matters. After graduation he spent a year at Stockholm University doing a course of study in international commercial arbitration. He then began working with ADR Systems administering commercial mediations and arbitrations in the areas of contract, products liability, professional malpractice, construction and complex business/commercial matters.
