Judge Berger to Speak at WBAI Sixth Annual Domestic Relations Roundtable

On Wednesday, May 17th, 2017 from 2:30pm-4:30pm, Hon.Helaine L. Berger, (Ret.) will speak at the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois’ Sixth Annual Domestic Relations Roundtable. The presentation, entitled, “Complex Issues and Out of the Box Solutions for the Intermediate Family Law Practitioner,” will explore the different strategies for approaching and participating in a successful family law mediation. A reception will follow the presentation from 4:30pm-5:30pm at Petterino’s located at 150 West Dearborn Street, Chicago, Illinois.
Judge Berger served for 18 years as a judge in the Cook County Circuit Court’s Domestic Relations Division and the Child Protection and Juvenile Justice Department. Her high settlement rate is a testament to her mastery in helping families come to an agreement that works for all involved. Those who practiced before Judge Berger applajjhuded and appreciated her ‘never-give-up’ attitude, active listening skills, compassion and courage to delve into the minute details of a case to achieve resolution. Judge Berger frequently applies her ingenuity to facilitate creative settlement agreements.
