Hon. Stuart A. Nudelman, (Ret.), senior mediator and arbitrator at ADR Systems, will participate in the upcoming Claims and Litigation Management (CLM) Construction Conference.

The session, titled “Making the Most of Mediation,” will cover pre-mediation positioning, opening sessions, statutory compromise offers and mediation preparation. The panel will also explore mediation do’s and don’ts by discussing confidential vs. non-confidential briefs and challenges associated specifically with construction mediations.

“Attendees can expect to walk away with a keen understanding of tools and strategies that can lead to an effective mediation,” Judge Nudelman said. “We want to get everyone to explore with us all available tools and options, such as anchoring, bracketing and mediator’s proposal.”

Judge Nudelman will present alongside Bruce G. Alexander, partner at Ciklin Lubitz & O’Connell; Keith Bremer, partner at Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP; Rachel Ehrlich, Esq., mediator; and Steve Nelson of Markel Surety.

“This panel is made up of several well-rounded and knowledgeable legal professionals from across the country,” Judge Nudelman said. “All of us have a firm grasp of the mediation process in construction cases, and we are ready to share our unique experiences”

Panel members will also discuss the importance of maintaining professionalism during mediation.
